Your club's season, in one place.

Choose your league and the club you follow. FootyMate keeps that club's fixtures, results, league position, and match detail together, reminds you before kickoff, and puts matches in the calendar you already use.

Free on iPhone, iPad, and Android. No account, no advertising. FootyMate Premium is optional.

The FootyMate Fixtures screen: competition filter chips, a month rail, and a club's matches grouped by date with scores, kickoff times, a NEXT UP marker, and reminder and calendar icons.
The FootyMate League Table screen in Form mode, with Home and Away filters, a match-count selector, and clubs ranked by points, goal difference, and recent results.

Why one club

FootyMate is built around your club rather than a league feed.

You choose one league and one club when you first open the app, and from then on everything is about that club — its fixtures across every competition its data covers, its league position, and the match you have not seen yet. There is no global scores feed, no news, no video, and no advertising.

That leaves one question to answer properly: when does my team play next, and will I be free? It is why reminders and calendar entries get as much attention here as the scoreline, and why it is an app you open twice a week rather than twenty times a day.

Supported leagues

Choose your league. Pick your club.

FootyMate covers 12 competitions for team selection and the league table. Once you have chosen a club, its Fixtures screen also carries the cups, continental competitions, and friendlies the data provider publishes for that club.

  • Premier League
  • Bundesliga
  • La Liga
  • Serie A
  • Ligue 1
  • Eredivisie
  • Primeira Liga
  • Süper Lig
  • Saudi Pro League
  • Major League Soccer
  • J1 League
  • K League 1

Coverage depth varies by competition. Fixtures and standings are broadly available; statistics, lineups, and event timelines depend on what the data provider publishes for a given match.

Fixtures Free

The whole season in one list.

Your club's matches are grouped by month in date order. Each row carries the date, the competition, both clubs with their crests, the score or the kickoff time in your local zone, and small markers showing whether a reminder or a calendar entry already exists for that match.

  • Find any month in one gesture. A month rail across the top jumps through the season, and a month-calendar overlay gives another way to browse fixture dates.
  • Cups, Europe, and friendlies included. Filter chips narrow the list to one competition, or leave it on All.
  • Today, live, and next up are marked. The match being played, the one happening today, and the next one still to come are all easy to find without scrolling for them.
  • It tells you how old the data is. A short status line says when fixtures were last updated, or that saved fixtures are being shown, and disappears when everything is current.

Reminders and calendar Free Premium

Make room for kickoff.

FootyMate is for people whose weekends fill up early. Free users can switch on occasional alerts for selected matches. Premium users get a reminder before every match at a lead time they choose, can override the timing for any single fixture, and can add one match — or the whole upcoming schedule — to their calendar.

  • Reminders reconcile themselves. The schedule is rebuilt from current fixture data, so a moved kickoff moves its reminder and a postponed match loses one. Alerts survive a restart and are never duplicated.
  • Calendar entries carry the detail. Each event is titled with both clubs and the competition, starts at kickoff, runs about two hours, and records the venue, round, and referee where they are available.
  • FootyMate only touches events it created. Every event it adds is recorded in its own register, and every update and cleanup works from that register — so anything else in your calendar is out of reach by design.
  • Permission is asked at the point of use. Notification and calendar access are requested when you choose a reminder or a calendar action, never on launch.

Match centre Premium

From the lineup sheet to full time.

Tap any fixture and the header is free: both clubs, the score, the competition, the venue, and the date. Premium opens three tabs behind it once a match is under way.

The Stats tab of a FootyMate match, comparing both teams on shots, shots on target, expected goals, possession, passes, pass accuracy, fouls, cards, offsides, and corners.
Stats Shots, expected goals, possession, passing, and discipline for both teams, as the data provider publishes them.
The Lineups tab of a FootyMate match, with both starting elevens plotted in formation on a green pitch, shirt numbers and player names shown, and a Substitutes row underneath.
Lineups The starting eleven on the pitch when a formation is published, a list when it is not, and the benches in a substitutes sheet.
The Timeline tab of a FootyMate match, listing substitutions and other events against the minute each one happened, ending at FT.
Timeline Goals, cards, and substitutions in order, with kickoff, halftime, and full time marked.

Match updates are periodic rather than second-by-second, and not every match carries the same detail. Friendlies and smaller cup competitions are often thin, formations are not always published, and most of it fills in closer to kickoff.

League table Free

More than a points table.

The Table tab carries the official standings for your league — played, won, drawn, lost, goals for and against, goal difference, and points — plus two ways to read them differently. All of it is free.

  • Form. Rank the division on recent results only, over a run of matches you choose from what the current season can support.
  • Home and away. Turn either venue off and the table recalculates on the other alone.
  • Club breakdown. Tap a row for league position and total, home, and away records across played, wins, draws, losses, goals scored, and goals conceded.

Reliability and privacy

Useful even when the connection is not.

Saved data comes first

FootyMate shows what it already has, then checks for updates. If a refresh fails, your fixtures and standings stay on screen and the app says so rather than emptying the list.

No sign-up

No email, no password, no profile, anywhere in the app. You open it, choose a league and a club, and you are using it.

No advertising or tracking

There is no advertising surface and no analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK in the app. Your club, saved data, and settings stay on your device.

An internet connection is still needed for a first load and for anything not already saved. Full detail is in the FootyMate privacy policy.

FootyMate Premium

What Premium adds.

Free tells you when your team plays. Premium makes sure you do not miss them, and opens the match centre. It is a subscription with monthly, six-month, and annual options, bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play. If Premium ends you keep your club, your fixtures, and your settings, and occasional match alerts continue on Free.

Feature Free Premium
Fixtures, results, and match status Yes Yes
League table, recent form, and home/away splits Yes Yes

Prices are set by the store and vary by country, so they are not printed here — the current plans are shown in the app before you buy. An introductory offer is sometimes available; the store decides eligibility, and the app only mentions a trial once it has been confirmed for your account.

Refresh figures are allowances rather than schedules. Nothing runs in the background: FootyMate updates while you are using it.

Common questions

What is FootyMate?

FootyMate is a football app built around one club. You choose a league and a club, and the app keeps that club's fixtures, results, league position, match detail, kickoff reminders, and calendar entries together.

Which leagues and clubs can I follow?

Twelve leagues: the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Primeira Liga, Süper Lig, Saudi Pro League, Major League Soccer, J1 League, and K League 1. You follow one club from one of them at a time.

Is FootyMate on iPhone and Android?

Yes. FootyMate is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later, and on Google Play for Android 7.0 and later.

Is it free?

Yes. Fixtures, results, the league table, recent form, home and away splits, and occasional match alerts are all free. FootyMate Premium adds a reminder before every match, custom reminder timing, calendar sync, the match centre, and faster refreshes.

How do reminders work?

They are scheduled on your device and arrive even when the app is closed. Premium reminds you before every match at your chosen lead time; Free sends occasional alerts for selected matches. There are no goal alerts.

Will FootyMate change my other calendar events?

No. It keeps a record of the events it creates and can only ever update or remove those. Everything else in your calendar is out of its reach.

Does it show live matches?

It shows live scores and match status, and Premium adds stats, lineups, and the event timeline while a match is on. Updates are periodic and depend on the data provider, so it is not a second-by-second live-timing service.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email anywhere in the app. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store or Google Play.

Where does the data come from?

api-football.com. FootyMate is independent and is not affiliated with any club, league, or federation.
